    Looking for a tranquil escape from the city? Beautiful views of Tasso lake, while sitting in front of the fireplace or lounging on the deck. Wether your having a BBQ, marshmallows by the fire pit, lying on the dock or paddling a canoe or just reading a book and listening to the birds, you can completely forget city life. You will sleep like a baby, the air is so intoxicating. The peace and quite will leave you feeling renewed. No sirens, horns, traffic jams or crowds to deal with. Just the serenity of the lake, trees and wildlife.

    Directions

    From Toronto head north on highway 400 to Barrie, continue north on highway 11 to Huntsville taking the highway 60 exit past Huntsville untill you reach Muskoka road 8 - Limberlost road. Continue for approximately 20 minutes passing Olympia Sports Camp and Conference Center. Shortly after the road will split, stay to the right (main road) continue on untill you reach our cottage on your left.

    Hello. My name is Julian and here's a little information about myself. I was born in Central Florida and have lived here most of my life. I've spent many years both travelling and studying abroad, but always return to the lovely surroundings of Central Florida.
    Why the Owner Chose Muskoka, Ontario:
    The Timucua and the Calusa were the earliest known inhabitants of the land that would become Winter Haven. Both of these groups were deeply impacted by war and disease from the Spanish conquest of Florida in the early 1500s. The Timucua were particularly affected by the expedition of Hernando de Soto. By the 19th century, both these groups no longer existed. During these expeditions the Spanish explorers claimed the entire peninsula of Florida for the Spanish monarchy
