You can explore the north (back woods) starting with our 40 acres then hit the hundreds of trails on snowmobiles, 4X4's, hiking, skiing or snowshoes to explore the rest of Alger County. After a long days ride enjoy the peaceful comfort of this very private and secluded lake resort but with DSL high speed wireless Internet to communicate with the rest of the world if you would like to. Jenny Lake Resort has a private lake that was stocked with trout approx. 5 years ago. Large Mouth Bass and Blue Gill have been fished from it but to date none of the trout have been caught, can you catch some? There's a dock to fish from or to launch the rowboat or canoe that's provided. There's a deck attached to the dock if you would like to just relax and enjoy the beauty of Upper Michigan's beautiful sunsets. This is a completely private lake so there won't be anyone camping or fishing next to you or using the dock. There is an area for bonfires when the days are cooler or just coming to an end. This is the ideal summer vacation setting to unwind from the constant motion of the city but offers all the creature comforts we've grown to depend on!
