    Description
    We have a large home in the midst of Annapolis Valley, about an hour drive from Halifax, Peggy's Cove, Digby, Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, and Annapolis Royal. We are about 10 to 15 minutes from the shoreline of the Bay of Fundy, and about a 10 minute drive from Halls Harbour. On Google Map, we are situated between Canning and Centreville on Hwy 221. We are a short drive from Cape Split, which is listed as the world’s eighth wonder.

    Directions

    From the Halifax Airport, you must take Hwy 101 to the Port Williams exit (to the 358 North). When you exit the 101 and are heading toward Port Williams on the 358 you will travel 10 km. until you reach the town of Canning. At the Hwy 221 intersection, you must head West (turn left at Canning cross-section) and drive 4 km until you reach Sheffield Mills. At the Yield sign you will turn left (still on the 221) and drive 100 meters, we are the second home on the left, 8872.

    Refunds / Cancellations: Cancellation Policy:

    The Guest acknowledges that because of the short rental season in Nova Scotia, they are buying the time available in the property and they own that time slot. In the event the Guest cancels their reservation after the 60 days prior to occupancy date and after a deposit has been made, the Reservation Deposit shall be withheld.

    Deposits / Fees: Polices: 700/week

    Reservation Deposit:
    A reservation deposit of $350 (of the 700) is required to finalize the reservation (You may also include the final payment if you wish). The reservation deposit can be either in the form of a VISA or Mastercard check, certified check, or Bank order check, and made out to Gilbert McInnis, and sent to 8872 Hwy 221, Sheffield Mills, Nova Scotia, Canada, B0P 1H0. Upon payment we will e-mail you a confirmation, and help you with any information you will need to enjoy your time here.

    Final Payment:
    The final payment of the remaining rental fee is due upon your arrival. This amount can be paid either in cash, or by a check of VISA, Mastercard, or American Express. Once the final payment has been made, the key to the house will be handed over to you. Check-in time is 3:00 PM. Check out time is 10:00 AM. - unless otherwise agreed. Upon departure (before 10 am), we request that you return the key to the same location.

    Last Minute Rentals:
    Reservations made after 1 June require the full payment.

    Hello. My name is Julian and here's a little information about myself. I was born in Central Florida and have lived here most of my life. I've spent many years both travelling and studying abroad, but always return to the lovely surroundings of Central Florida.
    Why the Owner Chose Wolfville (Sheffield Mills), Nova Scotia:
    The Timucua and the Calusa were the earliest known inhabitants of the land that would become Winter Haven. Both of these groups were deeply impacted by war and disease from the Spanish conquest of Florida in the early 1500s. The Timucua were particularly affected by the expedition of Hernando de Soto. By the 19th century, both these groups no longer existed. During these expeditions the Spanish explorers claimed the entire peninsula of Florida for the Spanish monarchy
